ACCOUNT MANAGER

Being a company that heavily admires the military and those who serve in the armed forces, it was only a matter of time before Mighty 8th found a veteran on their doorstep. 

Growing up in Jonesboro, Georgia, Tairyn and her family bonded over watching high-octane movies like Top Gun, instilling a deep-seated interest and respect for the military. This only grew as she joined the Reserve Officers’ Training Corp while attending Ole Miss for broadcast journalism. The ROTC exposed her to military life and regimen, even taking her to Kazan, Russia, for an intense 30-day language course.

Now, one of Tairyn’s biggest passions is getting that passport stamped! Her adventures have taken her from sharing an outhouse with a horse in the backwoods of Russia to walking the romantic streets of Paris at night. 

Post-graduating, Tairyn joined the Army, serving for seven years as an air defense artillery officer. She managed complex missile and early warning systems to keep traveling troops safe. 

After her service, she continued helping those who served via the American Red Cross and Hire Heroes USA. Today, Tairyn brings her empathy and attention to detail to everything she does at Mighty 8th. 

When she’s not at the Hangar, Tairyn loves spending time with her three children, taking them on adventures and teaching them how to be badasses (they’re learning from the best).
