Georgia’s Own Credit Union takes pride in being more deeply involved in their communities – offering better rates, lower fees, and more responsive customer service. It’s also crucial that, to remain competitive with big banks, they must also be innovative and comprehensive in their offerings. Often, in today’s digitally driven world, people are getting their first impressions of businesses online. Georgia’s Own needed a site that captured their personality and reflected the modern-yet-approachable financial institution that they are.
Their old site had several issues: it wasn’t responsive, meaning that it did not self-adapt from desktop computer layouts to fit varying screen sizes across mobile/tablet devices; it also did not have a unified look graphically, causing legibility issues. There was no cohesive tone or voice from section to section. Sounds like the perfect time to summon the troops from the Mighty 8th, which they did. Our team helped create a site that was fresh, exciting, and reflective of the communities they serve. All too often, financial institutions resort to typical stock photography shots (think cliche visuals like businesspeople shaking hands). Georgia’s Own wisely opted for original photography that captured “real people” to make it more personal and less typical.
