Last week we had a very bittersweet day as we said goodbye to a beloved member of our crew, Christin Shepard. After 5 and a half years of wonderful camaraderie, Christin will soon be traveling to China with her husband to meet their precious daughter, Millie. Christin will be a full-time mom to their daughter, and we couldn’t be happier for the Shepard family.
To commemorate this special day, we hung a banner thanking Christin for all the memories, and decorated the whole office with unforgettable pictures of Christin’s time at Mighty 8th!
The crew headed down Main Street to our favorite lunch spot, Aqua Terra Bistro, where Christin and Jessica shared their legendary Panko Tomato appetizer.
This was a great opportunity to share many stories from years past and take a walk down memory lane with the whole crew.
Back at the office, we gathered in the conference room to share some more special memories.
To capture so many wonderful moments of Christin’s time here at the office and with the crew, we put together a slide show set to music that resulted in lots of laughter and, of course, a few tears.
We presented Christin with a framed photo of the crew, and naturally it’s a wacky pose featuring props from around the office. Even Joe the Mailman made the photo! (He’s part of our Mighty 8th family too)
As the day wound down, we took one more group shot in the lobby.
Christin, thank you so much for all the memories, and although we will miss you incredibly, we’re so happy for your family and the arrival of your sweet daughter Millie.
