With over 100 million Americans watching the Super Bowl each year, Budweiser knows this is a unique opportunity to truly capture the heart of the country with an effective Super Bowl commercial. Sometimes their famous Clydesdale horses or a cute story are front and center, but in this year’s installment they celebrate the homecoming of a true hero: an American soldier.
Lt. Chuck Nadd, a 24 year old helicopter pilot and operations officer was given a hero’s welcome upon his return from Afghanistan earlier this month. Budweiser pulled out all the stops to celebrate Lt. Nadd’s service and his safe return.
With “A Hero’s Welcome,” Budweiser has not only given one American soldier and his family a memory that will last a lifetime, but they raise awareness that every single returning soldier deserves a hero’s welcome. For this, we at Mighty 8th Media tip our caps.
For more on how Budweiser, the town of Winter Park, Florida, and Lt. Nadd’s family were able to create this welcome for their hometown hero, enjoy this brief documentary.
