Celebrating “Best Place to Work” Award
October 13th, 2008 - by gordonOn Friday we decided to celebrate our recent designation as the #8 Best Place to Work in Atlanta by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Nothing says “Job well done!” like treating ourselves to gas station Mexican food. Our favorite “south of the border” restaurant is Dos Hermanos, a delightful little place that shares a wall with the Chevron just down the street. So, when you eat there, you’ll get gas and so will your car.

Pictured above on the left is Mitch Miller, an intern that joins us daily from the Grayson High School Technical Education Program. His efforts and great attitude certainly help Spitfire to be a great place to work.
Whenever the Spitfire Gang goes out for lunch, Jenny always scours the menu for the largest items that are the most complicated to eat. (See Exhibit A) For another example, see Exhibit B, the worlds largest widemouth taco-like entree below. Guilty as charged.

The leisurely pace at Dos Hermanos ensured that we had time to discuss weekend plans, the upcoming Halloween Costume Party and other general bonding activities. Getting along famously and pictured from left to right are Ben, Robert, Paige, Christin, and Jenny’s Huge Taco.

Hands down, we discovered the best way to wash down a belly full of Mexican vittles: With a trip to the DQ! From blizzards to parfaits, we loaded up on sugary treats and came back to the office in a blissful diabetic coma.

We’re proud of being named as a Top 10 Best Place to Work in Atlanta, and Friday’s lunch was an ideal way to celebrate this accomplishment together!
