Our eyes were opened and hearts were moved the moment retired U.S. Air Force Colonel, Lee Ellis walked into Mighty 8th. Having served as a fighter pilot and a Vietnam veteran of 53 combat missions, Lee was shot down in 1967 and held as a POW for more than five years in Hanoi and surrounding camps. Among those freed with Ellis was Senator John McCain. From this life-changing experience, Ellis was inspired to talk candidly about his years in captivity and the key leadership principles behind this amazing story in his latest book “Leading with Honor – Leadership Lessons from the Hanoi Hilton.”
We had the honor of working with Lee in creating a book cover design that captured the brutality, courage, and determination of his experience and the leadership principles learned to help increase personal and organizational success.
